On Tuesday March 13th, at the corporate headquarters of Banco Santander Chile, the International Desk department organized a Business Breakfast. Ten companies interested in investing in Hong Kong were present. Also, Luis Dominguez, CEO of Strategic Operations, Monica Olivares, Director of International Clients, Stephen Phillips, General Director of Promotional Inversions at Invest Hong and Mrs. Verónica Medina, Principal Consultant of Invest HK for Latin America, attended the event.
During the event, Mr. Phillips presented the benefits Hong Kong offers to the companies as they initiate their business in that city. He also explained how this investment promoting organism may support Chilean businessmen interested in that particular economy.
Grupo Quiñenco; Grupo Mosaico; Empresas ADELCO; Carey Abogados; Atrim Chile; Chile China Lawyers; Empresas Bamers; Alto Andes and Certus Consultores, attended this event. Luis Dominguez welcomed the participants and shared with them the interest that Banco Santander has in fostering activities that support companies’ internationalization.
Businessmen had the opportunity, during that time, to introduce themselves and tell their business experiences, along with asking several questions to the Invest Hong Kong team. At the same time, the International Desk Chile team shared with the businessmen all the alternatives Banco Santander has to offer to the companies that are interested in starting business in other parts of the world.
At the end of this breakfast, Paulina Marquez, Product Manager of International Desk stated: “The main aim of these events is to offer our clients opportunities that go beyond the traditional business aspects, so we may position Banco Santander as a supporter for international connectivity”-
