INTERNATIONAL DESK MEETS COMMERCIAL DELEGATION LED BY HONG KONG TRADE DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (HKTDC) TEAM.

On May 25th, the International Desk team of Banco Santander Chile, met a business delegation from Hong Kong at their recently inaugurated Work Cafe office located in Isidora Goyenechea. This event, as part of the Executive Sub director of HKTC’s (Hong Kong Trade Development Council) visit, Mr Raymond Yip. The purpose of this meeting was to explore new venues of cooperation, investments and economic integration between Hong Kong/China and Chile/Latin America’s markets. Representatives of the Asia Pacific Chamber of Commerce in Chile, led by Mr. Alvaro Echeverria, were also present.

At the time, Fernanda Vasquez and Rowena Sarah, Business Executive Officers for Investors Relations, made a presentation of Chile’s economic environment, of the new and successful Work Cafe business model and how International Desk supports companies in their efforts for business internationalization.

After the economic affairs presentation, a business round (“B2B meetings”) was held between foreign and Chilean businessmen interested in beginning commercial trade between the two countries.

Chilean executives, who validated this activity as a great possibility to increase their international business opportunities, significantly appreciated this experience.
